Compete against BUS

I like running.
Sometimes, I run from my office to my home.
Today, when I got home for running, the bus run with me in parallel.
The bus stops frequently due to signals, and passengers get on and off.
Therefore it does not advance a lot.
As a result, the bus and I ran side by side about 5 km.
The bus became my good running partner.

Tense is very difficult…
