【アドバンストタイムの内容】
As for a language of English, you might come across a variety of
dialects such as American, British, Aussie, Indian and also Japanese
English. Since English is a lingua franca which over 2 billions people
use, it is meaningless to determine which English is authentic. Most
of us, however, are unfamiliar with others than American English, and
when it comes to British English, some say that it sounds like
snobbish, while others cool. Then, in the next Advanced Time, let’s
take a look at a fringe of British English comparing to American! What
impression will you have towards it?

言語としての英語には多くの方言があります。アメリカ英語、イギリス英語、オーストラリア英語、インド英語、そして日本英語なども。英語は20億人以上に使われている世界共通語ですからどれが本当の英語かを決めるなんてのは無意味ですが、私たちはアメリカ英語以外にはあまり馴染みがありませんよね。ことイギリス英語となると、気取ってるとかクールとか言われてます。そこで、今度のアドバンストタイムではアメリカ英語と比べながらイギリス英語をちらっとをのぞいてみましょう。みなさん、イギリス英語にどんな印象を持つでしょうか
